This is great news; most people that I talk to share the same opinion: Mothers always had the best pizza, and nobody else could compare. They were one of the few that I can remember hand-tossing their dough.
Like Diddly however, I can't remember the taste exactly (it has probably been 25 years or more since I've had it, after all). Pizza doesn't have the same appeal that it used to. This is probably due in part to a change in what I like, and a change in the general quality of pizza. It's going to be interesting to see whether this is a triumphant return of the quality I remember, or the ruin of a fond childhood memory. |
