I've been having update issues with Antivir.  When the 14 days are up and the programme alerts me that there is an update I press yes, it searches and then times out.  Have you been having this problem of late?

Yeah, it's because Antivir has released a major upgrade.  It took a few attempts before mine upgraded properly as well.  You might be better off just downloading the new version and installing it directly (same install as the upgrade would be).

Huh, I haven't had that problem and I use the same one - I HAVE had it update numerous time in the last week though.. but it never says there is an issue, it always downloads something and finishes up.

Maybe the viruses already on your computer are doing you a good turn for once.

I seem to have been clean and clear for a while.
I don't download all that much if anything so any viruses I get are mostly through emails I think.

  The Antivir update finally downloaded for me yesterday.
