The other night I logged on and bought a number of items and completed 4 quests giving me around 10,000 xp.  When I logged on this morning for a bit, the quests were no longer complete and I had lost that xp.  Any idea what happened?  Did anyone else lose xp?

Sorry, I had to reboot the server to gain access to it (was locked up too tight! )  so anything after the last save (up to 5 hrs real-world time) was as if it never happened.

Yes, I have had to redo a bunch of quests for the same reason. Server reboot.

Is there a way you could force a world save before rebooting the server?

Normally it would save if I exited the server cleanly.  But in this case I had no access to the machine, so had to press the power button.  There's no nice way to do that.

Shouldn't happen again though.

Would you be able to save the world before you do work?  Just curious.  But NOT bi-curious.

ha.. I don't know if you are joking or not. But Trarman said he could NOT force a save on the world that one night BECAUSE the server would not allow him to log in. If he can't log on to the server her can't force a save to the world. Which is why the only option was to reboot the server.

He said normally he would force a save, but this was just a rare case where he couldn't get on the box.

Trarman: Are you able to force a save from IN-GAME, like as a GM?

Yes, in the new version GM has a save command.  It requires a password I don't know though.

You're the only one who mentioned showering and cleaning.
