I watched a TV program, where an individual compared Borat to the quality of the Michael Moore Documentaries but it was better than them because it was funny.  From the little I've seen on the TV trailers the movie seemed pretty degrading to everyone..has anyone seen the movie and could give their impressions?

Micheal Moore in my opinion has lost his "moral authority".  His credibility is shot.  He presents skewed interpretations as fact, which is NOT what a documentarian should do.  However, there is a big difference between Borat and Moore, and that is the audience is aware Borat is fake totally, where Moore does sprinkle truth amongst his 'interpretations'.

Can you give an example of how Micheal Moore has lost his moral authority?

In is Fehrenheit 911 he makes the claim the all saudi royalty were allowed to leave just after the 911 attack, when this has been proven to be false.  He draws links between the Saudi royalty and the Bushes, which is true, BUT he overlooks the links between the Saudis and democratic presidents.  That is quite an omittion.  His F911 movie, is more a political spin than documentary.  Bowling for Columbine was not as bad as F911.
