A recent study claims that toddlers prefer any food that is wrapped in McDonald's wrappers stating that it tastes better. Do you think the same applies to adults? Is a burger better b/c is it in a Wendy's wrapper?
This morning news rated the top Steakhouses in the greater Toronto Area, maybe we should check out some of them? Prices may be a consideration- La Castile seems to be more reasonably priced than the others. I have listed the top ones below with their website links. Ruth's http://www.ruthschris-toronto.com/
I'm up for trying these out any time you guys want to come to TO. I've been to Harbour 60.. they are AMAZING, but the steak (with no sides) usually comes to $40-$90. Bottles of wine (and they have top bottles of wine) come to $75-$200+ (they usually are $25-$40 bottles of wine in the liquor store). Sides and appetizers usually come to $10-$40 (there is a "side" of shrimp I got there once (we were taking client out for supper, in the end charging it back to them) for $30 with 3 shrimps, but they were all the size of mini-bananas.. seriously they were a good 4-6 bites each (and as you know I got a big mouth!).. that alone could have filled me but I still went on to have a primo steak, many glasses of wine and whatever vareity of side dishes were purchased (side dishes are meant to be shared)... All in all, dinner for 10-12 people came to more than I was making in a month BEFORE TIP! I make significantly more now than I did back then, but it still came to a very hefty total! Was it worth it? They did everything spectacular... service was phenominal.. they are always one of the top 3 rated steak and seafood restaurants in town...
I have heard of a few of the others but don't know much about them... if you are interested in trying any of these, let me know!
