I'm definitely in for "Best Damn Ribs Ever", but a lot of these sound very good and could be persuaded to join in if anyone else was interested.

Best Damm Ribs does look good. Do you want me to sign us up on Tuesday when they are posted? I was leaning toward taking either the hot sandwich, salmon, lamb, or bison class. Do any of these interest you?

Classes are held at the Chef Maribel's private home (which is why i'm not giving the exact address on the board) which is roughly near the corner of University Avenue and Bridge St, Waterloo, Ontario.

I'd be into the ribs for sure, and both the lamb and salmon look good (I'd probably lean more toward the lamb if I was choosing, but they both look good).  The bison looks good too, but I'd probably be less likely to cook it at home.

I paid for three spots for the Best Damm Ribs course as it was already half sold out. The Class is 7 pm on April 8, 2008. I kinda assumed that you both (Danmick and Diddly) are coming with me! If you don't want to come or cannot come. Let me know by March 7, 2008 as I can change the spot to another class for myself.

Sounds good, let me know when.  And remind me from time to time about the paprika; I'll check when I'm in Vincenzo's (or we could ask Shab's sister, she works there).

I just spoke with her and she's pretty sure they have the smoked paprika and if they do, she'll pick some up tomorrow for me (assuming it isn't incredibly expensive)..

Anyone up for ribs on Friday night?  I'm back in KW and have the evening free.. danmick and I were supposed to get together but I'm always up for some ribbies!!

Yeah, Friday night does not work for Diddly or I was we have both got plans. Vinzeno's has the paprika in the spice section and it has been taken care of already..unless danmick wants his own private stash the stuff smells so good.

Meet Kirstie Herbstreit Maribel's competition:

http://youcancook2.com/

Is there something to running cooking schools and having a crappy website as the standard?..i thought Maribel's looked like a high school project..

Maribel's prices are better, and reading the instructions on this site for "perfect" rib dinner, I think Maribel's cooking and teaching style is better too.
