A Fine Romance(TV series 1981-4) staring a very young Judi Dench and Michael Williams and written by Bob Larbey is freaking hilarious 1970 style British Comedy.  The series is the story of two social awkward individuals' budding dating life. Great bluntness and honesty from Dench & Williams characters make it super funny/insane and will have you laughing and sayin " Oh, gees" in no time. The series was nominated for nine BAFTA British Academy Television Awards and a winner of two, both for Dench's performance in 1982 and 1985.
If you don't like Brit humour stay clear of this series..otherwise for pleasant happy enjoyment this series is easily 80-85/100!

[Side note: Dench and Williams are married at this time..not sure if they still are & Judi is actually singing the theme music].
