Tired of that damned intro movie and not being able to bypass it?  Here's how.

    * Browse the following directory: My Documents\My Games\ Sid Meier’s Civilization 5
    * Find the file called “UserSettings.ini”.
    * Once the file is open, find the “SkipIntroVideo” setting which is set to 0.
    * Set “SkipIntroVideo” to 1 and the intro should not come up when you start the game anymore.

Civilization V is now on SteamOS!  They are (this week) selling many of the DLC expansions for <$2 each.

I love what Steam has become.  Buy once, play on every platform the game supports.  That definitely makes me more inclined to buy a game.
