While Harper takes away funding.  Previously the Conservatives had to tried to remove the tax subsidy per vote for parties, knowing other parties relied on that money for campaigns.  This was a rallying cry that almost led to a coalition of the left, except Harper prorogued government to prevent it.  Well, now he has a majority, and like any bully, he's going to steal their lunch money. http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2011/05/25/pol-flaherty-budget.html

If your vote no longer does ANYTHING for a party that doesn't win seats, will people polarize to support Conservative and NDP alone?
