Jon Stewart has announced his intention to leave the Daily Show, maybe July, maybe September, maybe December, but certainly at some point in the next year.  He claims to have no plans other than enjoying dinner with his family for a change, but feels it's time for him and the show to have a change.

I'm hoping this is all part of some master plan for him and Craig Ferguson to do a show together - two former LLS hosts

What an interesting idea!  Two very smart men (although both would deny it) coming together to form a powerhouse of comedy.  But would it work?  They're like polar opposite comedians.  Jon Stewart is all about politics, and Craig Ferguson does his best to stay clear of such things.  Do they tag each other in like wrestlers when the topic requires it?

Trevor Noah will be replacing Jon Stewart on the Daily Show.  http://morningafter.gawker.com/comedian-trevor-noah-will-succeed-jon-stewart-as-host-o-1694484412

Also, Danmick, there already is a New Odd Couple, starring Matthew Perry (Chandler from Friends) as Oscar, and Thomas Lennon (Week 2 guest host after Craig Ferguson left The Late Late Show) as Felix.

I saw that very shortly after making the comment   It doesn't really live up to the original - Tom Lennon is great, but I feel like he plays the Felix Unger character a little over the top.
