Apparently some people sued various companies over price-fixing on DRAM from 1999 through 2002 and a settlement has been reached in a national class action totaling over $79million. So what Shabadu, why should we care? Well anyone who bought a number of devices during that time are eligible to receive some of the settlement... I know I bought at least one computer during that period so I am entitled to $20 (yah its only $20 but that's a couple of lunch outings or the better part of a dinner. If you aren't filing a large claim, you do not need to show proof of purchase of go to court, just fill in the claim form online and it will be processed for you.
