The owner of Pop Shoppe soda is bringing back the Mother's Pizza restaurant.  Did you ever eat at Mother's?  I remember loving their pizza, but I can't remember the flavour.  The restaurant itself was nice too.  More "upper crust" than pizza joints of today (pun intended).

This is great news; most people that I talk to share the same opinion: Mothers always had the best pizza, and nobody else could compare.  They were one of the few that I can remember hand-tossing their dough.

Like Diddly however, I can't remember the taste exactly (it has probably been 25 years or more since I've had it, after all).  Pizza doesn't have the same appeal that it used to.  This is probably due in part to a change in what  I like, and a change in the general quality of pizza.  It's going to be interesting to see whether this is a triumphant return of the quality I remember, or the ruin of a fond childhood memory.

Mother's Pizza has opened in Waterloo on Weber, near University ave.  Lodge street specifically, I think.  Just in case anyone wanted to try another location than the one in Sportsworld in Kitchener.

I actually ate there with my financial advisor yesterday; it's in the old Benny's location.  I think the food was better than at the Sportsworld Drive location personally.
