I wanted to start a thread to share music-related links - mostly songs or videos that I've enjoyed, but maybe news, instructional videos, interviews, and other things like that as well.

To begin, I thought I would post a video that came up at lunch with Diddly and Shabadu (and Mrs. Shabadu): Disturbed's version of "The Sound of Silence."  I've always liked the Simon and Garfunkel version of this song, and Disturbed does a rendition that starts out haunting, and takes on a hard edge that gives me chills:

Lately, I've been really getting into music by Joe Bonamassa.  Most of the people I speak to have never heard of him because he doesn't play the record companies' game, but chooses to do his own recording, but he is well known in music circles as a guitar virtuoso.  Here is a collection of songs from his appearance at the Royal Albert Hall in 2009; I would say fans got their money's worth!

This one isn't from the Royal Albert Hall, but the Beacon Theater in New York, with Beth Hart on vocals.  This is the song that started the conversation I had with Diddly that contributed to him buying a hollow-body guitar :)
