Missing that British Spy in your life?  Checkout the addictive BBC Series The Night Manager. Writer David Farr has adapted John LeCarre's classic "cat and mouse" spy thriller novel to modern times. Plot quickie: A reckless and super confident British expat hotelier working in Cairo gets entangled in the dark underbelly of global trade with the Middle East. The Series has all the great J.B. elements (great intro, hot women, intellectual minds games, beautiful scenery, guns, etc.)

The superb cast includes Hugh Laurie [House, Veep, Black Adder, MI5, Jeeves and Wooster, etc.], Tom Hiddleston [Marvel's Thor/Avenger Movies, The Hollow Crone, Wallander, etc], Olivia Colman [Dr. Who, Broadchurch, Locke, Great Fuzz, etc.] and David Harewood [Blood Diamonds, Supergirl, Homeland, etc.]

A second series has already been announced, I am driving myself a little crazy tonight trying to figure out the writers next moves...

4.6/5  :) :) :) :) :)
