I am not sure if youre sarcastic or real, i aint really sure i trust google anymore. But seriously :D a year is 365 days (8760 hours) AND 6 hours.
just looking out for you bro. i might be a nerd. but which one of us isnt? this tho isnt even nerd stuff. ive learnt it in primary school

It was a poor attempt at humour, apologies. In reality, I just googled the answer myself, with the assumption that 1 year was the orbit of the Earth and the expectation that's what most people would do. You are of course correct that rounded to hours a full orbit is 1 yr + 6 hrs.
Earth revolves around the sun in 365 days, 5 hours, 59 minutes and 16 seconds. The time a planet takes to revolve around the sun is called a year.
Updating the answer to be more accurate would certainly help keep the spam bots at bay, but would it be too big a hurdle for the average user? I'm sure there a better question that's too tricky for bots to parse, but understandable for humans. Do you have any suggestions?

The question is great as is :D i just think if possible one should add both answers as correct. if not leave it be imho. cheers.

Good thing we were allowed to look before registering. Been trying to set this up for longer than I'd like to admit.
