  • I'm slowly getting the services back up.  Luckily nothing was lost.  Turned out to be some bad ram after upgrading the server memory, caused a whole mess of issues.  I've learned my lesson and tested the ram in the server now before setting it back up.

  • I've restored the old forum to working order (at least for reading) since a significant portion of this site's traffic is still to individual posts and threads from there.  You can get to it through the link near the top of the page in the current forum, or right here

    As before, it's there for archival value.  You cannot create an account in the old forum, nor even log in without error if you already had an account.  New content belongs in the current message forum.
