I just read a review of Conan for the PS3 on pc.ign.com.  Seems they really liked the graphics and the bloody gore... as well, like the old Savage Sword of Conan there are a lot of scantily clad ladies...  For an action game they said they mix it up enough so that it is not just a button masher.

I also saw pictures of Fifa Soccor 08.  That looks so cool!

Rock Band videos can be gotten at ps3.ign.com.  I can't directly link them since they appear in a popup window.

Conan has not been getting very good reviews.    That's a shame, it held such promise.

Apparently there's lots of boobies in the game.  That's good!  But Conan wields magic!  That's bad.  But there's lots of gore (like the picture below)!  That's good!  But there's lame puzzles too.   That's bad.  But graphics are just like the comics!  That's good!  But the boss battles are sad echoes of God of War battles.  That's bad.

Actually, the IGN reviewer (who says he otherwise quite enjoyed the game), felt that the final battle was so bad it made him rethink recommending the game.  You die numerous times and it'll still take an hour to defeat the last boss.  Coming from a guy who plays video games FOR A LIVING, that says something.

That's too bad.  Though from a graphics point of view Heavenly Sword is far superior and I would expect the same kind of attention to future games and Conan just did not live up to that.  However, I still enjoyed the demo.  Too bad the rest of it does match up.

Garage Band certainly has an impressive playlist....more good tunes than Guitar Hero 3...when is it due out?

Assassin's Creed is excellent fun in ancestor mode...lots of places/things to do and explore..love the flying and horseback riding aspects. Modern day times stuff is slightly dull but luckily only 5% of the game.

I heard a rumour that Hawkeye was cowering under the stairs in Call of Duty 4   hee hee

and  in smackdown news... just wanted everyone to know that Mad Dog took the Women's Wrestling Title ... hee hee maybe Mr. Bean or Monster can steal it from him??

So any brave soul going to finish the Boss battle on Heavenly Sword???

That seems like such an interesting platform game.  I didn't think platform games would make the jump from nintendo or atari, but I sit here corrected.

So boys!!! You helped me get to the final battle of Heavenly Sword, but you have left me hanging there for months!!! No one wants to see the final unlocked stuff and videos?? Are you guys admitting to being defeated by the game?? No one has the dexterity, speed or stamina to beat the final boss??

Well then, you just need to pick a night and come over, punk!  CoD4 is still fun, but I think Warhawk is better multiplayer mayhem.  It's like comparing Medal of Honor to Battlefield.

I just read that Sony will be bring out "the big games" this summer.  While many of them are not to my liking, here are the games and the North American release dates:

- Resistance 2 (Fall 200
   - sequel to the shooter game Resistance

- Little Big Planet (October 200
   - well duh, we all know this one!

- Buzz! Quiz TV (Fall 200
  - over 5,000 music, movie & TV, sports, general knowledge & lifestyle questions
  - plus online quiz sharing

Motorstorm: PAcific Rift (Fall 200
   - "the most brutal racing game around is back"

Killzone 2 (February 2009)
   - "the most highly anticpated PS3 shooter"
   - supposedly has an intense storyline that promises to blow gamers away

Socom: US Navy Seals Confrontation (Sept 16, 200
   - I'm sure you all know this game series too

If you want to know more the Metro newspaper claims there is a "full list" of new game releases for PS3, PSP and the PlayStation Network on their website: metronews.ca.
