It's the last season of Game of Thrones, and is there any surprise it's the most pirated show on TV? If you're thinking of using one of the multitudes of "free" services to watch the latest episode, beware because it
opens you to litigation.
A lot of these services, like Popcorn Time or others you routinely find on an Android box, use a protocol called "Bittorrent". The advantage of bittorrent is that each client shares whatever piece they've downloaded with every other client downloading the same content. This means everyone can download faster because they aren't all hammering the same source, but pulling from each other.
In Canada however, it's illegal to share copyrighted content without consent, and all the authorities need do is join the torrent to grab all the IP addresses of everyone involved (and then get customer details from the ISPs).
So in short, don't use those services or you may find yourself having to go to court.
