Haven't you always wished for a fun video game conversion of "The Great Gatsby"? I know I have. Now it's here! http://greatgatsbygame.com/ You can play this Nintendo port online.

This is a great toy for Shabadu... I wonder if it could set up inversely, so that whenever your concentration dropped below a certain level, you get a shock.  That could be a great training device! |

I was never a fan of CSI, and now even less so! That's as bad as Boy George on A-Team. (Another example of horrible acting)

Face is quite proud to have negotiated as 'Peach Pear Artist management' a profitable deal, filling Chuck's country dance hall "Floor'em" and get all the profits of a show by Cowboy George. Unfortunately the scam-artist has been scammed- his own contract allows substitution and is abused to dump on him an elsewhere canceled concert by British rock star Boy George, which the redneck audience appreciates less then drought. Boy and his Culture Club are most cooperative, and Hannibal impersonates Cowboy George, so they must now try to put both on stage, while getting wind armed bank robbers have a deal with Chuck to hit the armed car of the audience's payroll- the team stops them but they get the protection of the fake sheriff Miller who tells the workers the team he jailed committed the robbery. An interesting link Chiquita.. M did pump out a lot of stats and claimed that we aren't equals (which I'm not disputing by the way)... but I would be interested to know what the stats are for men for all the same things she brought up (how many men are killed by partners/former partners, how many are sexually assaulted etc.) just to give more context to what she is saying...
The only stat I think that is badly skewed is the one about women earning only 10% of the money worldwide. There are a lot of women who are stay-at-home moms/wives... while a noble sacrifice (again I'm being serious and not in the least sarcastic), this choice also comes without a paycheque. I realize that chances are many women are not given the choice (such as in 3rd world countries where in many cases they are at best treated as second-class citizens) but there are a lot of women who make the choice willingly. If my wife earned enough (we earn roughly the same amount), I would choose to be a stay-at-home dad. I'd love to be able to focus time and energy on my children and while I'm not overly fond of housework, I certainly love to cook... but the point is, for many women, I think it is a conscious choice that they make. So all those zero-incomes would probably rise that 10% figure not to a 50-50 split, but better than a 90-10 split at least...
Just something to consider. |
